About Us

Mrs. Diye' Dia-Gaye, MSED
CSEIA was born out of a vision that was acquired more than twenty years ago while traveling to Senegal, West Africa. Senegal is the country of my father's origin and a second home for our family. My passion to support and advocate for a vulnerable youth population in Senegal and other African countries has a lot to do with my value for my African heritage and culture. This journey was a search for purpose both personally and professionally.
As a teacher of children and youth with special needs, I sought out the educational services and resources that would be accessible to this population, and they were limited. Immediately, I felt "charged" to promote and provide equitable educational opportunities for this underserved youth population and the nonprofit CSEIA was the vehicle.
